Duration

10 sec

Fake Ailment makes the Stalker feign a random status ailment on themselves. The condition is purely a disguise: it looks real to everyone, but it carries none of the usual penalties. Its only purpose is to prime Foul Play, which converts each faked ailment into a genuine one on the victim.

Overview
Casting Fake Ailment applies one randomly chosen fake condition to the Stalker for 10 seconds. The fake never slows, silences, poisons or otherwise hinders the caster in any way; it is a visual mask over the character. A Stalker can carry several different fakes at once by casting between the skill's short cooldowns, stacking up conditions to unload later.

Mechanics
Each cast picks one of six fake ailments at random, each equally likely:

* Poison
* Confusion
* Curse
* Silence
* Freezing
* Burning

The fake lasts 10 seconds. Because the skill has only a 5-second cooldown, a Stalker can layer multiple different fakes before engaging. When Foul Play connects, every fake currently held is turned into its matching real ailment on the target and removed from the Stalker.

Leveling
Fake Ailment has a single level.

Level !! SP cost !! Cooldown !! Duration
1 || 8 || 5 sec || 10 sec

Notes
* The fake conditions are cosmetic only. A Stalker under Fake Ailment can act normally, even if it appears to be Frozen, Silenced or Confused.
* Fake Ailment is the setup half of a two-part combo; see Foul Play for the payoff. Duplicate copies of the same fake do not stack, so spread across different conditions for the widest effect on the target.
