'''Critical Stabs''' is a passive skill of the [[Crusader]] class that sharpens [[Quick Stabs]], raising its critical rate and granting further bonuses at higher levels. It turns the Knight-era spear thrust into a dependable critical attack for spear builds.

== Overview ==

Critical Stabs improves the older Quick Stabs skill rather than producing an effect of its own. Once learned, every use of Quick Stabs gains additional critical rate, and at certain levels the skill picks up extra effects: a temporary attack bonus on kills and, at the maximum level, an additional hit per use.

== Mechanics ==

The skill enhances [[Quick Stabs]] in three ways, unlocking each tier as Critical Stabs is leveled.

* '''Critical rate:''' Quick Stabs gains +(3 × SkillLv) critical rate.
* '''Level 5 or higher:''' Killing an enemy with Quick Stabs grants +20 ATK for 60 seconds.
* '''Level 10:''' Quick Stabs strikes three times per use instead of two.

The critical bonus applies whenever Quick Stabs is used, so it scales directly with the level invested here.

== Notes ==

* This skill has no effect on its own; its bonuses are applied entirely through [[Quick Stabs]].
* The critical bonus now scales at +3 per skill level. An earlier precedence issue that mis-applied this scaling has been corrected, so the full per-level bonus is granted as listed above.
