== Overview ==
Falconry Mastery rents a falcon that perches with the Hunter. The falcon itself is the requirement for the Hunter's falcon-based skills and for the automatic Blitz Beat proc on normal attacks.

== Mechanics ==
Casting Falconry Mastery on yourself, after a 1-second cast, summons the falcon. Once the falcon is present it enables [[Blitz Beat]] and [[Detect]] — both of which require a falcon — and it allows normal bow attacks to randomly trigger an automatic Blitz Beat. The falcon stays until the Hunter dismisses it or it is lost.

== Notes ==
A falcon is effectively mandatory for the falcon branch of the Hunter: without it, [[Blitz Beat]] and [[Detect]] cannot be used and the auto-Blitz on normal attacks will not fire. Falconry Mastery is also a prerequisite for the Beast Master branch's [[Beast Taming]].
