== Overview ==
Chemical Protection is a family of four skills that coat a piece of an ally's equipment in a protective chemical, making it immune to being broken or stripped for the duration. Each variant guards a different equipment slot.

== Mechanics ==
Casting any Chemical Protection skill applies a coating to the matching gear slot on the target. While active, that slot cannot be broken by skills or stripped by Strip-type abilities. The duration scales with skill level, lasting 5 minutes at Lv 1 up to 15 minutes at Lv 3.

The four variants are:

* '''Chemical Protection Weapon''' — protects the weapon.
* '''Chemical Protection Shield''' — protects the shield.
* '''Chemical Protection Armor''' — protects the armor.
* '''Chemical Protection Helm''' — protects the upper headgear.

Only one Chemical Protection effect can be active on a target at a time; applying a new one replaces any existing coating. The target must have the relevant piece of equipment worn for the skill to succeed.
